How to Request Account Deletion
If you would like to delete your AlcoBalance account and all associated data, please send a request to: support@alcobalance.app
To help us process your request, please:
- Send the email from the same address you used to register your AlcoBalance account.
- Use the subject line: “Account Deletion Request”.
- (Optional) Include any additional details if you believe they may help us identify your account faster.
Once we receive your request, we will confirm the deletion and notify you when the process is complete.
Data That Will Be Deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently erased from our systems:
Account & Identity Data
- Email address
- Login identifiers
- Authentication tokens
Personal Profile Data
- Weight
- Age
- Gender
- Activity level / lifestyle information
App Usage Data
- Drinking logs and alcohol tracking sessions
- Saved settings and preferences
Data That May Be Retained
Certain types of data cannot be deleted immediately due to legal, audit, or platform-level requirements:
- Google Play transaction history: This is stored by Google and cannot be deleted by AlcoBalance.
- Aggregated or anonymized analytics data may remain for up to 30 days before automatic removal. These data cannot be used to identify you.
Data Retention & Processing Time
- Account and associated data are deleted within 30 days from the date your request is received.
- Backup copies stored on secure servers are automatically removed within 30–45 days as part of our routine cleanup cycle.
After deletion is complete, it is not possible to restore your account or any data.
